Part-time Creative Marketing Manager

Position Overview Part-Time Creative Marketing Assistant Compensation Range: $38 - 40 per hour Location: Franklin, Tennessee Job Type: Contract We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented individual to join our team, an established Japanese-owned company in the automotive tool manufacturing industry. This is an ongoing temporary position requiring approximately 20 hours per week (based on project needs and load). This foundational role will be the company's first marketing hire, responsible for spearheading and executing all marketing and content strategies. It is a hybrid role, beginning with necessary training and collaboration in our Cool Springs office. Responsibilities Establish and manage the company's entire digital presence, with a focus on developing and actively managing a professional presence on LinkedIn. Produce engaging digital content, including product videos and how‑to videos for technical tools, for use across multiple digital platforms such as the company website, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Manage and develop content for corporate communications, including daily social media posting and engagement to build brand awareness. Transform flyers and corporate materials into professional newsletters using design software like Adobe InDesign and AI tools (e.g., Co‑pilot) for enhanced efficiency. Assist with modifications and updates for the product catalog and other essential marketing documentation. Research, recommend, and advise leadership on the best AI tools and marketing strategies to achieve company goals. Work closely with the website designer to ensure consistent brand messaging across all digital platforms. Qualifications Proven creative skills in video and graphic design; proficiency with Adobe InDesign and experience utilizing AI tools for content repurposing. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong understanding of the Japanese automotive market and industry. Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the marketing function in a hands‑on, start‑up environment. Ability to work independently and manage a consistent part‑time schedule. Japanese language proficiency is a plus but not mandatory. Comfortable using AI translation tools for basic translation, which will be double‑checked by the manager.
