Position Overview A leading, private, multi-location services organization is seeking an accomplished and highly motivated
Regional Finance Director
to oversee financial operations for a key U.S. region. This role supports a portfolio of operating businesses representing
$100M+ in revenue , with expected rapid expansion driven by organic growth and acquisitions. The Regional Finance Director will act as a
strategic finance partner to regional leadership , ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, operational efficiency, and alignment with corporate objectives. This individual will report to senior finance leadership and collaborate closely with both corporate and field-based teams.

Key Responsibilities Regional Financial Leadership
Lead financial oversight for a multi-entity regional portfolio
Ensure accuracy of reporting and alignment with corporate standards
Support regional growth and scalability initiatives
Business Performance Optimization
Partner with operational leaders to drive profitability and efficiency
Deliver actionable financial insights to support decision-making
Growth & Acquisition Integration
Support financial diligence and modeling for acquisitions
Lead post-acquisition integration of finance processes and systems
Risk & Compliance Management
Establish and maintain strong internal controls
Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements
Financial Systems & Process Improvement
Standardize reporting and financial processes across locations
Drive system enhancements to support scalability
Labor & Cost Oversight
Oversee payroll accounting and labor cost management
Ensure compliance with multi-state and union labor environments (as applicable)
Financial Oversight & Strategic Partnership
Serve as a trusted advisor to regional and corporate stakeholders
Maintain integrity of financial records and systems
Accounting & Reporting
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
Ensure compliance with GAAP and corporate policies
Oversee
WIP and Percentage of Completion (POC) accounting
Acquisition Support
Participate in diligence and integration efforts
Align acquired entities to standardized financial practices
Process Improvement & Compliance
Strengthen internal controls and financial policies
Partner with audit, tax, and corporate finance teams
Leadership & Team Development
Lead and develop regional finance teams
Promote consistency and best practices across locations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
10+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience
5+ years of experience in
project-based or construction-related accounting environments
Experience in
multi-entity, multi-location organizations
Strong expertise in:
GAAP and financial reporting
Budgeting and forecasting
WIP / POC accounting
Payroll and labor cost structures
Experience supporting
M&A diligence and integration
Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency
Proven leadership and team development experience
Ability to travel (~25%)
