An extremely reputable, global industrial manufacturing organization is seeking a
Site Engineering Director
due to a retirement. Reporting to the VP/GM for this flagship production operation, this role will strategically lead a large engineering organization and be responsible for process engineering, new product introduction, and developing high-performing engineering teams. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity. Primary Responsibilities
Provide overall technical leadership for Process Engineering, Product Engineering, and Technical Tooling functions supporting manufacturing performance, product consistency, and customer specifications Lead initiatives focused on yield improvement, variation reduction, and cost optimization in ceramic core and related manufacturing processes Direct tooling and product design standards while managing engineering budgets and resource allocation across the facility Oversee New Product Introduction activities to ensure execution to timeline, cost, and quoted performance requirements Develop and execute plant-wide scrap reduction strategy in partnership with operations and corporate engineering leadership Drive cost improvement, product enhancement, and production problem-solving initiatives across the engineering organization Build organizational capability through talent development, succession planning, and creation of an engaged, high-performance engineering culture Required Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of engineering leadership or closely related technical manufacturing experience Strong technical background spanning manufacturing processes, tooling, and machining within a production environment Demonstrated analytical and strategic leadership capability with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders Eligibility to work in the United States in compliance with ITAR requirements without sponsorship Our client offers an extremely competitive portfolio of insurance and retirement benefits along with an energetic, performance-based culture and other attractive perks.
