We are a fast-growing California personal injury law firm that invests in digital growth and are looking for a Google Ads expert to take full ownership of our large scale campaigns. This is a rare in-house opportunity for an experienced strategist to work with significant resources, high intent traffic, and a leadership team that fully values paid search as a core driver of the business.
About the role We are seeking a highly skilled Google Ads Manager with direct experience managing campaigns for personal injury law firms. You will oversee and optimize a large monthly ad budget and build a high performance strategy focused on generating qualified leads, lowering acquisition costs, and scaling profitable growth. This role requires expert level knowledge of Google Ads, personal injury search intent, conversion tracking, and intake driven optimization.
Key responsibilities
Build, manage, and optimize all Google Ads campaigns across practice areas
Develop advanced campaign structures including segmented search campaigns, Performance Max, audiences, geofencing, and remarketing lists, analyze lead quality, conversion paths, and intake data to drive decision making
Identify opportunities to scale profitable campaigns while reducing wasted spend, coordinate with intake operations to improve attribution, call tracking, and offline conversion imports
Conduct competitor research, auction insights reviews, and strategy adjustments
Produce clear weekly and monthly reports with actionable insights
Ensure compliance with all legal advertising rules and personal injury specific guidelines
With growth, manage and mentor an internal paid search team and broader performance marketing team building scalable systems, accountability, and performance standards
Required experience and credentials
Minimum of 5 plus years serving as the primary manager and decision maker for Google Ads accounts for a personal injury law firm, preferably in California or another highly competitive market, with proven results and strong references
Extensive experience managing high budget Google Ads accounts
Deep understanding of personal injury search intent, high value keywords, competitor strategies, and negative keyword frameworks
Expertise optimizing for intake driven conversions, with a strong emphasis on phone calls and lead quality
Proven ability to reduce wasted spend, improve cost per lead, and scale winning campaigns
Mastery of Google Ads Editor, keyword research tools, conversion tracking, and GA4
Ability to build segmented practice area campaigns, manage audience targeting, implement geofencing, and deploy RLSA strategies
Experience running and optimizing both Search and Performance Max campaigns for personal injury firms
Experience integrating Google Ads with intake platforms including CallRail, LeadDocket, and or comparable systems
Strong understanding of call tracking, form tracking, offline conversion imports, and lead filtering
Knowledge of local SEO principles for personal injury law firms and how they integrate with paid advertising strategies
Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to translate data into action
Google Ads Certification preferred, Google Partner status a plus
Compensation: Salary 150K to 200K plus benefits
