
Senior Director of Asset Management

This Managing Director of Asset Management will partner closely with the CEO, CFO, and executive team to drive portfolio performance, optimize NOI, and implement strategies that enhance long-term asset value. They will work cross-functionally with Operations, Sales & Marketing, and Finance to ensure each asset performs in line with underwriting, business plans, and investor return expectations.
This position is based in the Philadelphia area and includes regular travel to portfolio properties and on-site 5 days per week when not traveling.
Compensation Competitive compensation package including base salary and performance bonus.
Key Responsibilities
Drive financial and operational performance across the portfolio
Partner with operations leadership to execute asset strategies and business plans
Monitor leasing performance, occupancy trends, rent growth, and expense management
Lead portfolio pricing strategy in collaboration with operations and marketing
Evaluate financial results and implement strategies to improve cash flow and asset value
Oversee capital improvement initiatives and reserve planning
Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes
Monitor performance against underwriting assumptions and investment objectives
Maintain strong knowledge of market conditions, competitive properties, and demographic trends
Qualifications
10-12 years of residential real estate asset management experience
Experience overseeing multifamily or residential portfolios
Strong financial analysis and portfolio management expertise
Advanced Excel skills and experience with property management platforms such as Yardi
Proven leadership ability with experience mentoring and developing teams
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
