Overall Job Summary The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling within an assigned district to perform tasks such as planograms, merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The FAST Team Member interacts with customers and Team Members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain regular attendance and work varied hours, including nights and overtime as needed.
Communicate proactively with the District FAST Supervisor regarding work status and issues.
Complete planograms, resets, and store layout initiatives accurately and timely.
Maintain visual merchandise standards and perform store-specific measurements.
Perform cycle counts, assemble merchandise, fixtures, and signage.
Deliver excellent customer service following the GURA model: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, and Add value.
Ensure a positive shopping experience that sets us apart from competitors.
Perform other duties as assigned, including coverage during peak times.
Required Qualifications
Prior retail or merchandising experience required; farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred.
Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is strongly preferred.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills and ability to work independently.
Working Conditions
Primarily indoor work with moderate noise; outdoor work involves hard surfaces and variable weather.
Travel between store locations using personal vehicle, often over long distances.
Adhere to safety guidelines and promote a safe work environment.
Physical Requirements
Ability to travel, lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull merchandise weighing up to 2,000 pounds with equipment, and perform physical tasks such as standing, kneeling, reaching, and climbing.
Operate store equipment and communicate effectively with team and customers.
