Job Overview
As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed. Occasionally you may work with other products from other companies in the stores you service.
Salary and Schedule Details
Your starting hourly pay rate will be $12.50 - $14.50 depending on your skills and experience.
Paid training delivered through live and virtual classroom instruction.
Hallmark part‑time employees are offered voluntary benefits including medical, dental, vision, etc.

Part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
Average weekly hours are 6‑13 hours per week.
Availability one week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
Responsibilities You’ll perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The role includes three major components:
Day‑to‑day engagement: Use Hallmark‑provided mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory. Communicate with supervisors, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys. Maintain professional interaction with store employees, management, and customers. Manage entire Hallmark display at assigned stores.
Holiday support: Lead up to and following major holidays (Valentine’s, Easter, Mother’s, Father’s, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas) the team may work additional days, extended hours, or on the holiday itself.
Department resets: Join a team for installations and tasks such as building or moving Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections. Receive notification at least two weeks before remodel assignments, which may require evenings or weekends.
Team collaboration: As part of Hallmark’s field organization, support other merchandisers in their territories when needed.
Physical Requirements This physically demanding role requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying cartons and display fixtures up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You must kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may climb stairs and step ladders throughout the workday.
Basic Qualifications
At least 18 years old.
Capable of reading, writing, and understanding English.
Capable of regularly lifting, pulling, and carrying products up to 30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
Ability to operate a digital hand‑held device and read/interpret documents.
Access to Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
Consistent transportation to travel between assigned stores on schedule.
