Summer Golf Course Intern Golf course in Wayzata, Minnesota is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.
Position Overview: The internship will involve the student in the refinement of turfgrass quality and daily operation of a private golf club as well as tournament setup, project management, and irrigation programming and maintenance. Our Internship program is designed to prepare a student for the profession of Turfgrass Management by introducing them to all aspects of a golf course management, not just daily maintenance routines.
Requirements: Candidate is expected to be enrolled in a Turfgrass Management program and have a basic knowledge of grounds maintenance equipment operations. Qualified candidates will be expected to acquire a Minnesota Pesticide Applicators License upon arrival. The student should have a basic knowledge of golf course equipment and the standard use of both walking and riding equipment.
Compensation: $20 per hour.
