Job Description
Full Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer. Responsibilities include building relationships with in‑store employees, stocking shelves, maintaining displays, and ensuring product visibility for Mondelēz brands.
Represent Mondelēz in front of in‑store employees and work closely with sales representatives to optimize product visibility and construct promotional displays.
Carry out in‑store visits according to Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Steps, including capturing pictures of displays at assigned stores.
Order product via iPad Tablet to ensure in‑stock conditions for shelves and displays.
Ensure Nabisco leading brands (Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit) are well represented, stocked, and maintained according to Mondelēz’ guidelines.
Ensure Sales Representative’s negotiated plans with store managers are followed and communicate any issues to Mondelēz’ management team.
Follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager to ensure efficient in‑store service.
Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and new product launches.
Demonstrate a positive and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz in store.
Who is a good fit?
At least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license issued by the state of residence.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Positive, professional attitude; self‑motivated; able to work independently.
Able to drive personal vehicle to a variety of store locations (mileage reimbursed).
Capable of performing hard work in a fast‑paced environment, including repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs.; occasional pushing/pulling over 50 lbs. involves moving products from stock rooms to store floor and stocking shelves.
Previous retail or grocery experience is a plus.
Live within 25–35 miles of the primary location (Urbandale, IA); secondary locations: West Des Moines, IA.
Schedule availability Required: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday; must start by 6 am.
Salary & Benefits Hourly rate: $16.75–$17.50 based on experience.
