Job Description
Join our team as a Full Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer and fulfill the merchandising needs of our customers through communication and relationship building, stocking store shelves, and maintaining or changing out displays. Become an ambassador of world‑famous brands such as Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, and other industry‑leading snacks.
Responsibilities
Represent Mondelēz in front of store employees and work closely with sales representatives to optimize product visibility and construct promotional displays.
Carry out in‑store visits according to Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Steps, including capturing pictures of displays at assigned stores.
Order product via iPad tablet for shelves and displays to ensure in‑stock conditions.
Ensure Nabisco leading brands are well represented, stocked, and maintained per Mondelēz’ guidelines.
Ensure Sales Representative’s negotiated plans with store managers are followed and communicate any issues with Mondelēz’ management team.
Follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager for efficient in‑store service.
Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and new product launches.
Demonstrate a positive and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz in store.
Qualifications
At least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license issued by the state of residence.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Positive, professional, self‑motivated, and able to work independently.
Ability to drive a personal vehicle with valid insurance to a variety of store locations (mileage reimbursed).
Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally push or pull over 50 lbs., and to move products from stock rooms to store floors.
Previous retail or grocery experience is a plus.
Live within 25‑35 miles of Springfield, IL (primary location); Decatur, IL is a secondary location.
Schedule availability: Sunday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–8:00 AM.
Salary and Benefits Hourly compensation ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 based on relevant experience.
