Catering Sales Representative
Workstream, Tallahassee, FL, United States
Role Overview
The Catering Sales Representative is a high-energy, field-based sales role focused on actively growing catering sales through in-person outreach. This role is ideal for someone who thrives outside the four walls of the restaurant — knocking on doors, building relationships face-to-face, and turning conversations into catering orders.
This individual will spend the majority of their time in the community visiting local businesses, schools, churches, medical offices, nonprofits, and organizations to introduce Chick-fil-A Mount Dora’s catering offerings and secure new clients.
Key Responsibilities Outside Sales & Prospecting
Proactively visit local businesses, schools, offices, and organizations door-to-door to introduce Chick-fil-A catering
Identify decision-makers and build relationships through face-to-face interactions
Generate new catering leads through cold visits.
Account Development
Convert first-time catering clients into repeat customers
Maintain ongoing relationships with key accounts through regular check-ins and visits
Track leads, follow-ups, and conversions to ensure consistent sales momentum
Community Presence
Act as a brand ambassador by delivering exceptional hospitality in every interaction
Sales Execution
Educate clients on catering menu options, pricing, and ordering process
Assist clients in selecting catering solutions that fit their needs
Partner with the restaurant team to ensure smooth execution of catering orders
Ideal Candidate Traits
Comfortable with Door-to-Door Sales: Enjoys walking into businesses, introducing themselves, and starting conversations
Outgoing & Confident: Builds rapport quickly and communicates clearly
Goal-Oriented: Motivated by targets, incentives, and measurable results
Organized & Self-Directed: Manages leads, follow-ups, and schedules independently
Passionate About Chick-fil-A: Understands and represents our values and hospitality culture
Work Environment
Majority of time spent outside the restaurant in the community
Flexible schedule focused on peak business hours for sales outreach
Some in-store coordination as needed for catering execution
Working at a Chick-fil-A® restaurant is more than a job – it’s an opportunity for teamwork and leadership development in a positive, people-focused environment. Most Chick-fil-A restaurants are locally owned and operated by independent, franchised Operators who invest in the future of their Team Members and give back to their communities.
