We are currently looking for the right Part‑Time Retail Sales Associate to join our team.
$14.00 to $17.00 per hour
Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $1.11 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

Position Summary We are seeking entry‑level, part‑time sales associates in pawn store locations nationwide. The associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides of the business. They greet, engage, and interact with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions, handle jewelry and general merchandise such as tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.
Responsibilities
Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate solutions.
Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
Maintains sales floor cleanliness, stocking, and merchandise displays.
Processes sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Handles cash and negotiable items per established policies.
Answers incoming calls per company standards.
Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, using respectful and effective tools.
Collaborates with all employees to create a positive customer experience.
Completes assigned training.
Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum requirements & qualifications
Willing to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Willing to perform duties requiring standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting for extended periods.
Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.
May be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.
Minimum age: 18 years old.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Strong desire to serve customers and be team‑oriented.
Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficient in basic math calculations.
Cash handling experience preferred.
Ability to work multiple locations as business needs dictate.
Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Computer literate and capable of operating POS systems and common office machines.
Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.
Commission Plan Information The commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash; pawnbrokers can earn 2‑8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. Details are provided during interview.
