Position Summary We are seeking entry‑level, part‑time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business.
Responsibilities
Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains the display of merchandise.
Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies.
Answers incoming calls per company standards.
Communicates to customers the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions.
Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools.
Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
Successfully completes assigned training.
Other related duties, as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods per law.
Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.
May be asked to assist customers outside the building.
Minimum age 18.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Strong desire to work, serve customers, be team‑oriented.
Ability to multi‑task in fast‑paced environment.
Perform basic math calculations proficiently.
Cash handling experience preferred.
Can work in multiple locations.
Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and office machines.
Commission Plan Information The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2–8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. More details are provided during the interview.
