What is the Opportunity? As the Director, Annual Audit Planning, you will lead the design, execution, and evolution of the global Annual Audit Planning (AAP) process across a large, complex Internal Audit (IA) function. As a leader within Internal Audit Practices & Reporting, you will own the methodology underpinning AAP while driving end-to-end execution of the annual plan - ensuring alignment to top enterprise risks, regulatory expectations, and strategic priorities. This is a high-impact role requiring both strategic judgment and operational excellence, with direct exposure to senior leadership (SVP/EVP) and influence over how IA delivers its global mandate. Own and evolve the global AAP methodology: Ensure alignment to regulatory expectations and leading practices across peer institutions, and address increasing complexity Lead end-to-end execution of AAP: Orchestrate the global process and lead analysis and approvals to deliver a high-quality, risk-aligned global audit plan Drive insight through data and analysis: Monitor, analyze and report on coverage and risk alignment, translating complex data into clear, executive-level insights to support decision-making Enable transformation and scalability: Partner with technology teams to support digitization of audit planning and reporting, simplifying and standardizing processes Lead and develop a high-performing team: Build team capability to operate in a high-demand, fast-paced environment What you need to succeed

Must-have Undergraduate degree Deep Internal Audit expertise: Minimum 7 years' experience in internal audit; strong understanding of annual internal audit planning, including regulatory expectations thereof Strategic and analytical mindset Proven leadership in complex environments Nice-to-have Professional designations (e.g., CIA, CPA, CA, CISA, CRMA) Working background/experience with major business segments of RBC or comparable peer bank Experience within Internal Audit Practices/Methodology/Transformation function What’s in it for you?
