Position Summary The Senior Director of Information Technology reports to the Chief Financial Officer and leads the organization’s overall technology vision, execution, and service delivery model. This individual plays a critical role in aligning technology initiatives with business priorities by collaborating with leaders across Sales, Operations, and corporate functions. The position is responsible for advancing digital capabilities, strengthening security and compliance posture, and enabling data-driven insights. As a member of the senior leadership team, this role oversees enterprise applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data management, and end‑user support services.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a strategic partner to business leadership, providing guidance on technology direction and investments.

Develop and deliver a multi‑year IT roadmap that aligns with organizational objectives while maintaining operational reliability.

Define and enforce governance frameworks, including architecture standards, security policies, vendor oversight, and financial accountability.

Applications & Data Management

Lead the direction, implementation, and ongoing management of ERP platforms (Microsoft Dynamics 365) and integrated systems such as MES and quality/supply chain tools.

Oversee system enhancements, integrations, and solution architecture supporting Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, and R&D functions.

Establish strong data governance practices, ensuring accuracy, ownership, and consistency across core data domains.

Promote process optimization through automation and improved workflows, enabling greater business ownership and adoption.

Security & Regulatory Compliance

Direct enterprise‑wide cybersecurity efforts, including risk management, control frameworks, identity management, operational technology security, and incident response planning.

Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and maintain readiness for audits related to financial systems and external partner requirements.

Lead ongoing security awareness and training initiatives.

Infrastructure & IT Operations

Provide oversight for infrastructure strategy, including network connectivity across corporate and plant locations, hybrid cloud/on‑prem environments, and system resilience.

Implement structured lifecycle and patch management practices to ensure system reliability and performance.

Establish and maintain IT service management standards, including SLAs/OLAs, to support consistent service delivery across all locations.

Manage third‑party technology partners, including contract negotiation, performance evaluation, and relationship management.

Develop and oversee the IT budget in collaboration with Finance, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and cost efficiency.

Build and lead a high‑performing IT organization spanning applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data functions.

Encourage a culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development.

Drive adoption of modern tools, platforms, and analytics to enhance organizational capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline; advanced degree (MBA) preferred.

12+ years of progressive leadership experience in IT, including ownership of ERP platforms within manufacturing or consumer products environments.

Proven experience leading Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations or upgrades.

Strong track record partnering with executive stakeholders across business functions.

Deep expertise across IT strategy, operations, cybersecurity, and enterprise solution delivery.

Experience evaluating vendors, managing contracts, and supporting due diligence efforts.

Strong technical foundation across systems, infrastructure, and data/analytics platforms.

Demonstrated ability to assess and implement emerging technologies, including AI (generative and agent‑based), integrations, and advanced data solutions.

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Proven ability to develop and retain high‑performing teams.
