Place Showroom is seeking a driven wholesale sales assistant to join our sales team. We’re a full-service multi-line wholesale apparel showroom for leading contemporary and emerging brands.
As a representative of Place Showroom, the ideal candidate is outgoing with high energy, thrives in a fast-paced work environment, and possesses excellent communication and presentation skills. The candidate must be comfortable with cold calls, building new relationships, time management, and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines in a high-volume workload.
Responsibilities
PO processing from order entry to shipment tracking
Prepare for and/or participate in applicable appointments, markets, road shows, and trade shows as needed
Provide administrative and showroom support for Sales Manager and team
Participate in product knowledge seminars with Place’s brands and, on occasion, conduct product knowledge seminars at our retailers
Qualifications & Skills
Proficient in Excel
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must have sales experience, preferably in wholesale fashion
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to travel as needed
Must have an interest in a long-term sales career
