is looking for a self‑motivated and results‑driven Trailer Sales Representative to represent NCU in the semi‑trailer industry.
North Central Utility is one of the largest semi‑trailer dealerships in the nation and the largest in the North Central region with 10 locations throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota and North Dakota. We offer reefer, dry van and flatbed trailers from Utility Trailer Manufacturing at all locations and vocational trailers from MAC Trailers in Wisconsin – we sell new and used semi‑trailers. With Moore Space, we offer temporary storage container solutions as well. Our parts department has an extensive inventory in Heavy‑Duty Truck/Tractor and Trailer parts. Our broad product line and geographic coverage ensures we are a “One Stop Shop” for truck and semi‑trailer parts. Our service department offers everything from routine maintenance, certified DOT inspections to precision laser alignment, as well as complete wreck repair for trailers of all makes and models. No job is too big or too small for our skilled service technicians.

Job Duties And Responsibilities
Sales territory management
Overall responsibility for the sale and rental of trailers (new & used) in southeastern Wisconsin
Develop a close working relationship with the Parts and Service Department to ensure harmonious interaction between departments and great customer experience
Manage the customer throughout the sales process through delivery and beyond
Strengthen overall relationships with key accounts while finding additional business opportunities
Call on territory customers and prospect area for new sales opportunities
Manage trailer inventory at store level
Learn semi‑trailer specs and trailer refrigeration systems
Conduct used trailer evaluations
Manage trailer rental contracts and sales agreements
Use CRM to record interactions with customer base, track prospects, and move deals through sales cycle
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Previous sales experience required
CRM experience preferred
Exceptional negotiation skills
Exceptional problem‑solving skills
Strong leadership skills
Demonstrate high level of business acumen
Driven & self‑motivated
Strong computer skills
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) proficiency
Proficient with technology
