Used Car Technician , you’re one of the most important team members at
Norm Reeves
because you’re responsible for performing important vehicle service duties bumper‑to‑bumper. You’ll use your knowledge and skills to keep our guests safe on the road, follow safety procedures and regulations, and contribute to Norm Reeves location’s reputation for excellence.
This opportunity is great for technicians looking for an extra income!
Schedule Monday – Friday (5PM – 9PM) + Saturdays
Core Responsibilities
Perform multi‑point inspections on used vehicles
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and safety‑related issues
Complete reconditioning work including brakes, suspension, steering, engine, and drivetrain repairs
Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, filters, fluids, belts, etc.)
Accurately document all findings and recommended repairs
Work closely with the used car manager and service advisors
Meet productivity and quality standards to support inventory turn goals
Maintain a clean and organized work area
What You’ll Need
Previous experience as an automotive technician (used car or dealership experience preferred)
Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
Ability to work efficiently in a high‑volume environment
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Ase certifications a plus (not required)
