If you enjoy solving problems and building relationships in a dynamic, industrial environment, **we want to meet you!**A **Counter Sales Associate** will partner with our customers to provide industrial, medical, and specialty gases, welding equipment, and other essential supplies. You will serve as a trusted guide, **advising customers** on the tools, hardware, and materials needed to successfully complete their projects. By demonstrating equipment use and sharing insights on product quality, you **help our customers** pioneer new solutions in their own work. .* **Responsible for adherence to company policies** including safety and the use of personal protective equipment to ensure a secure environment for everyone.* **Provides excellent customer service** to both internal and external partners, fostering understanding and long-term relationships.* **Ensures** all required paperwork is accurately completed, including coding, costing, and pricing.* **Partners with customers** to identify the best tools and procedures for their specific tasks; demonstrates equipment use to build customer confidence.* **Manages order entry and processes transactions**; assists the team with the reconciliation of deposits.* **Coordinates** via phone, e-mail, and in person with customers and team members to provide helpful information on costs and delivery.* **Contributes** to an outgoing call strategy to support the continued growth and success of the branch.* **Coordinates the transfer of merchandise** between locations to meet customer needs.* **Maintains a positive work atmosphere** by acting and communicating in a supportive manner with customers, vendors, and colleagues.* **Stocks shelves and maintains** welcoming showroom displays to provide an excellent customer experience.* **Coordinate cylinder movement and pallet organization*** HS Diploma or equivalent required.* Minimum of 2+ years of experience in product, warehouse, or sales environments (**we also value an equivalent combination of education and unique life experience**).* Excellent customer service skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.* Experience in industrial retail, inside sales, or inventory control is a plus.* Attention to detail in handling transactions.* Availability for occasional overtime when the team needs extra support.* Must be able to operate in a **drug-free workplace.*** A detailed understanding of SAP and PROS functionalities.* The ability to communicate clearly and warmly with a wide variety of people from different backgrounds.- A background in gas, welding, or safety supplies is a wonderful asset.
