Full-Time Retail Sales Associate Salary: $12.00 to $15.00 per hour, with a commission structure that pays you for each transaction.

Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $2.33 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

Position Summary We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The

partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business.

Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate

greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions. They thrive on engaging with customers and assist with customer inquiries and problem resolution. The associates work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

The position offers an hourly wage, with commission based on productivity. Actual pay will vary based on location, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

Greets and interacts with all customers to develop a rapport to better provide and recommend appropriate financial solutions.

Performs non‑management open/close procedures.

Maintains sales floor cleanliness, stocking, and merchandising displays.

Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.

Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.

Answers incoming calls per company standards.

Communicates to customers the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions.

Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools.

Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.

Successfully completes assigned training.

Other related duties, as assigned.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.

Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.

Employees may be asked to assist a customer on the building exterior or retrieve products from exterior storage areas.

Minimum age: 18 years old.

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team‑oriented.

Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.

Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.

Cash handling experience preferred.

Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.

Must have the ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Computer literate and able to operate Point‑Of‑Sale (POS) systems and common office machines.

Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2‑8% commission, based on the gross profit of their personal performance. Applicants receive additional details during the interview process.
