Position
Full-Time Retail Sales Associate $12.00 to $15.00 per hour. We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Potential earnings : Our retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $2.93 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

Position Summary We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions. The role involves engaging with customers and assisting with inquiries and problem resolution across a variety of merchandise, including jewelry, tools, electronics, and firearms (in FFL locations).
The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Actual pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities
Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and recommend financial solutions.
Performs non-management open/close procedures.
Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
Handles cash and negotiable items per policies and regulations.
Answers incoming calls per company standards.
Communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
Collaborates with coworkers and managers to deliver a positive customer experience.
Completes required training successfully.
Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to stand, walk, and perform duties for extended periods; able to work in accordance with laws.
Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
May be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products stored in exterior areas.
Minimum Age: 18 years old.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to perform basic math calculations and cash handling experience is preferred.
Must be able to work at multiple locations as needed; flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Computer literate and able to operate POS systems.

Commission Plan Information The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on gross profit from personal performance. Details are provided during the interview process.
