Activities Director

to lead and coordinate engaging programs that enhance the lives of our residents.

Responsibilities

Planning, organizing, and implementing a monthly calendar of recreational, social, and therapeutic activities

Engaging residents through one‑on‑one and group programs that promote wellness, cognitive stimulation, and enjoyment

Working closely with interdisciplinary teams to meet individual care plans and preferences

Coordinating special events, holiday celebrations, and community involvement

Supervising and training activities assistants and volunteers

Qualifications

Prior experience in recreational programming or a related field in a healthcare setting preferred

Certification as an Activities Director or eligibility to obtain certification

Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills

Compassion, energy, and a positive attitude
