Insight Global's client is seeking a
Director of Enterprise Architecture
to provide senior‑level leadership in shaping the organization’s enterprise technology landscape and ensuring alignment with business strategy, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Define, maintain, and evolve enterprise architecture standards across infrastructure, applications, data, and security domains
Partner with business and IT leaders to develop conceptual, current‑state, and target‑state architectures aligned with organizational objectives
Oversee solution design, integration, and lifecycle activities across platforms and systems
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies that improve efficiency, resilience, and innovation
Ensure architectural consistency, interoperability, and scalability across the enterprise
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, IT Engineering, or a related field
12+ years of technical experience, including
5+ years in an enterprise architecture or architecture leadership role
Demonstrated experience building and leading enterprise architecture functions or teams
Strong expertise across enterprise, application, data, infrastructure, and security architecture
Experience with modern architectures including
cloud, AI, microservices, APIs, and data platforms
Proven success designing and executing enterprise‑wide technology strategiesStrong understanding of enterprise architecture methodologies and frameworks
Excellent communication and influence skills with the ability to engage at executive and senior leadership levels
Ability to balance long‑term strategic vision with hands‑on execution
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the energy and/or utilities industry
Advanced degree in an IT‑related field or Electrical Engineering
