This contract‑to‑hire Enterprise Architect role will play a critical part in shaping scalable, future‑state architecture, partnering with business and IT leaders to drive high‑impact initiatives across data, AI, and enterprise platforms.
Job Function
Assess current‑state architecture to identify gaps, risks, and scalability challenges.
Define target‑state architectures and develop strategic points of view for key initiatives.
Evaluate architectural options, providing clear analysis of trade‑offs, costs, and risks.
Establish and document best practices, standards, and reference architectures.
Lead and contribute to Architecture Review Board (ARB) discussions and governance.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Data, AI, and Integration teams to align strategy.
Translate technical concepts into business value and support adoption across stakeholders.
Job Requirements
15+ years in IT, with at least 5+ years in an Enterprise Architecture role and 5+ years in a Solution / Application / Data Architecture role preferably within the Life Sciences, Med Tech or Healthcare sector.
Proven experience in Cloud (GCP / AWS), Data Lake & Warehouses (Snowflake), AI/ML (Predictive AI, Generative AI, Agentic AI), Integrations (APIs, Pub‑Sub, Streams, File Transfers).
Prior experience in the Biopharma / Life Sciences industry is recommended or nice‑to‑have.
Familiarity with Life Sciences capabilities, functions (R&D, Drug Development or Clinical, Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance, Manufacturing, Medical Affairs, Commercial), and common GxP / regulated use cases.
