Role Summary/Purpose The AVP, Fleet Farm Analytics will lead Fleet Farm analytics, influencing business strategies and engaging internal business teams across marketing, finance, credit, and sales with data‑driven insights. The role involves deploying analytical insights and strategies around acquisition, EMOB, lifecycle, world spend, and retention-based strategies. Candidates should be analytically focused with proven experience influencing strategy, segmentation, campaign execution, targeting, and optimizing marketing investment.

Essential Responsibilities

Partner with Marketing, Sales, and analytics members in India to develop integrated solutions to grow credit acquisition, incremental sales, and net income for a key retail client.

Provide strategic thought leadership and influence Synchrony business leaders and client teams to implement marketing strategies based on customer, financial, and data‑driven insights.

Develop business case presentations and action plans to drive marketing strategy, including targeting recommendations, test design, acquisition optimization, retention opportunities, and cost/benefit analysis to review with client and Synchrony marketing teams.

Manage marketing analytics and strategy development for new product launches, customer acquisition, lifecycle, and retention initiatives.

Leverage internal and external customer information to understand customer propensities and derive/refine customer strategy.

Establish test and control strategies to measure bottom‑line impact of targeting strategies by leveraging internal and advanced analytical tools such as segmentation and statistical models.

Produce campaign analytics to track results of strategies deployed. Enhance “test and learn” culture through ongoing assessment of product and targeting strategies.

Act as a strategy and analytic consultant for large‑scale initiatives, providing guidance and leadership for the design, analysis, and measurement phases of the project.

Develop analysis for world spend on Fleet Farm MasterCard and create strategies to increase activation, trip frequency, and overall sales growth to develop top‑of‑wallet use.

Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's degree or in lieu of degree, high school diploma/GED and 9+ years of analytics experience.

5+ years of analytics experience with analytic tools including SAS and SQL.

Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required.

Desired Characteristics

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Progressive experience in marketing or customer analytics role at a multi‑product/multi‑channel financial services organization.

Bachelor’s/Graduate degree in Analytics or Financial discipline.

Python, R, Tableau and other statistical tool experience.

Experience influencing and directing people outside of their reporting structure.

Ability to provide wing‑to‑wing analytic support including pulling data, preparing analysis, interpreting data, making strategic recommendations, and presenting to client/product teams.

Experience measuring marketing campaigns and interpreting results.

Ability to clearly explain technical and analytical information (verbally, written, and in presentation form) and summarize for key stakeholders.

Eligibility Requirements

You must be 18 years or older.

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation, and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process.

You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

New hires (Level 4‑7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non‑exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
