EVENTS SALES REPRESENTATIVE – JOB DESCRIPTION
The Events Sales Representative is responsible for the sales and presentation of all wedding, corporate, and social events at both County Line Orchard and The Pavilion at the Dunes. The Event Sales Representative reports directly to the Director of Events.
Events Sales Representative duties will include, but are not limited to:
Receive, input, and respond to all event leads through the event booking software
Coordinate all tours of the venue space, record all bookings, and process booking deposits
Create sales goals and pursue outside clients to obtain additional bookings throughout the year
Analyze data, run reports, and assess event sales to create strategies for growth and improvement
Consistently meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales calls and booking targets as outlined in the company sales plan
Record all scheduled tours and booked events in team calendar
Review event offerings and pricing with all prospective customers and create accurate event estimates custom to meet each customer’s needs
Prepare event contracts for each event and ensure proper review and signature prior to booking completion
Collect booking deposits and barn rental fees at scheduled payment due dates, provide customer receipts, and create copies for the client event folder and Accounting Department
Maintain well documented, accurate, organized and up-to-date customer files
Experience/Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
Two (2) years of sales experience
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficient in computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Preferred Skills:
Experience in weddings or large-scale events
Hours: The Events Sales Representative is a full time position and works a minimum of 40 hours per week, including nights and weekends.
The Events Sales Representative is an exempt, salaried position with potential to earn commission per event booked.
