Carmel in 1950. Today, Fourtané Jewelers is one of the leading authorized watch and

jewelry destinations in the country featuring Rolex, Patek Philippe, Cartier, Tudor, Carolina

Bucci, Roberto Coin, and Messika. Although the clientele now spans the globe and the store

has significantly expanded to include an Official Rolex Boutique in San Diego, the original

small, friendly, and personalized atmosphere remains unchanged in Carmel-by-the-Sea.

About the Job We are seeking a motivated and personable Watch Sales Associate to join our team at

Fourtané Carmel. The ideal candidate will have a passion for luxury timepieces, exceptional

client relationship skills, and the ability to deliver a world-class sales experience in a high-

end retail environment. This role demands deep product expertise across our watch

brands—including Rolex, Tudor, and Cartier a proactive approach to client development,

and a consistent drive to meet and exceed individual sales goals. This role is a non-exempt

onsite role.

Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist clients in a warm, professional manner that reflects the Fourtané

brand and the luxury standards of the brands we represent.

Develop and maintain deep product knowledge across all watch brands carried,

including Rolex, Tudor, Cartier, and pre-owned timepieces, including movements,

complications, reference histories, and current market positioning.

Meet and exceed individual sales targets, including overall revenue goals, new client

acquisition, and performance across all watch categories.

Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.

Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation of display cases and

store areas.

Build and maintain a strong personal client book through consistent outreach,

follow-up, and relationship development, leveraging CRM tools to track client

interactions and preferences.

Stay current on luxury watch trends, new reference releases, secondary market

values, and brand news to provide clients with informed, expert guidance.

Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally.

Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and inventory

counts.

Qualifications: At least 5 years of retail or sales experience required, with preference given to

candidates with luxury watch or high-end goods experience.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Basic math and POS system skills.

Knowledge of luxury watch brands, movements, complications, and the pre-owned

market is strongly preferred; familiarity with Rolex, Tudor, and Cartier is a
