About the Role Virginia Transformer is seeking a highly strategic and execution-focused
Director / Senior Director of Enterprise Applications
to lead the end-to-end lifecycle of all business-critical systems.
This role is accountable for ensuring enterprise applications reliably support operations, scale with growth, and enable digital transformation across the organization. The leader will oversee strategy, delivery, governance, and ongoing support across core platforms including ERP, CRM, HRIS, PLM/PDM, and enterprise integrations.
This is a high-impact leadership role with full ownership of application performance, stability, and business value delivery.
Core Application Landscape
ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or equivalent)
CRM and customer-facing platforms (Salesforce or similar)
HRIS systems (UKG, Workday, or equivalent)
PLM/PDM systems
Legal and compliance applications
Custom-built applications
Key Responsibilities Application Ownership & Operations
Own availability, performance, and reliability of enterprise applications with a
24x7 support model .
Ensure systems meet business needs with strong uptime, responsiveness, and scalability.
Drive operational excellence through structured support models and SLA adherence.
Strategy, Architecture & Transformation
Define and maintain enterprise application architecture and integration strategy.
Align business requirements with scalable system capabilities and enforce process standardization.
Lead digital transformation initiatives, modernization efforts, and system simplification.
Lead major application programs including ERP, CRM, HRIS, and PLM initiatives.
Oversee project execution, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and aligned to business outcomes.
Establish governance frameworks for change management, release cycles, and testing discipline.
RUN, BUILD, TRANSFORM Model
RUN:
Ensure system stability, performance, and support excellence.
BUILD:
Deliver enhancements, integrations, and new capabilities.
TRANSFORM:
Drive strategic modernization and digital initiatives across the enterprise.
Manage vendors, system integrators, and external partners with clear accountability for performance.
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing enterprise applications team across multiple domains.
Establish strong internal partnerships with Finance, Operations, HR, Engineering, and Commercial teams.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure systems comply with audit, security, and regulatory requirements.
Drive process discipline, documentation standards, and governance across all applications.
Support audit readiness and compliance initiatives across the enterprise.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
12–18+ years of experience
in enterprise applications with progressive leadership responsibility.
Strong experience with ERP (Oracle EBS, SAP), CRM (Salesforce), HRIS (UKG, Workday), and PLM/PDM systems.
Proven ability to lead large-scale transformation, system stabilization, and modernization initiatives.
Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of enterprise integrations, data flows, and system architecture.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
