Job Overview Join AAA The Auto Club Group (ACG), America’s most trusted brand with over 100 years of service. ACG offers membership, travel, insurance, and financial services to more than 14 million members across 14 states and 2 U.S. territories. We are hiring a Field Insurance Agent I to sell and service ACG branded insurance products, memberships, and financial products within an ACG branch.

Responsibilities

Use sales techniques and product knowledge to identify customer-specific needs, generate new sales, retain existing insureds, and grow ACG’s overall insurance book of business.

Effectively overcome objections to close sales and/or retain insureds.

Meet or exceed targets as defined in the sales incentive plan and goals assigned by leadership.

Conduct insurance reviews for clients, assess risk, recommend appropriate products, quote, bind and issue policies using provided tools and underwriting guidelines.

Participate in local branch events to solicit new business and expand business networks.

Build rapport to establish customer satisfaction, loyalty, and affinity to the AAA brand.

Respond to customer inquiries and requests regarding insurance, membership, and financial products.

Refer members to other applicable lines of business (e.g., Travel & Financial Services) as appropriate.

Compensation & Benefits Base Pay: $31,200 (non‑exempt, eligible for overtime) Unlimited commission potential Elevated commission payout for the first 15 months Additional weekly bonuses (up to $200 per week for the first two months) Annual signing bonus of $2,500 for new hires eligible under the ACG sign‑on bonus program.

Requirements

Current Property & Casualty Insurance Sales license.

Current Life & Health Insurance Sales license, or obtain within 90 days of hire.

Qualification, acquisition, and maintenance of all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling/servicing Auto Club Group Membership products.

Obtaining Health and Accident licenses where applicable within an established timeframe.

High school diploma or equivalent.

1+ year of customer‑facing experience in a fast‑paced, computer‑automated business environment (e.g., financial or banking). Strong sales skills with proven ability to develop, track, follow up on, and close leads.

Excellent consultative selling techniques and thorough product knowledge.

Strong prospecting skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with a strong customer focus.

Ambition, motivation, and drive.

Proficiency in desktop systems, including CRM and Microsoft Office applications.

Strong listening skills and ability to understand customer needs.

Work Environment Work in a temperature‑controlled branch location. Ability to work irregular hours with possible weekend work. Occasional travel to local branch events.
