Mandatory Skills
Support for the handhelds, laptops, and scanner devices
Provide Install Move Add Change (IMAC), Break‑Fix and end‑user support activities as required
Resolve complex client computing problems for customer business and IT service areas
Rack and stack support for commissioning/decommissioning infrastructure devices
Job Description
Provide Install Move Add Change (IMAC), Break‑Fix and end‑user support activities as required
Support for the manufacturing “Shop‑Floor” handhelds, laptops, and scanner devices as required
Perform data collection/preservation activities as they relate to migrations and/or eDiscovery
Stage build and image systems with standard client image (aka eCore)
Job Qualifications
Good communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
Strong working knowledge of MS Windows OS, MS Office, and basic business applications
Minimum 2 years of desk‑side support services
Basic knowledge of networks, telecom, and compute/storage
Basic knowledge of mobile device support
Provide Install Move Add Change (IMAC), Break‑Fix and end‑user support activities as required
Support for handhelds, laptops, and scanner devices
Smart hands and feet support across teams on demand
Rack and stack support for commissioning/decommissioning infrastructure devices
Provide physical access to vendors on demand for site/communication rooms – IDF/MDF/MMR and data center/server room
Manage power shutdown maintenance activities (shutdown of network devices and servers in data center)
Printer management, usage monitoring, coordinate with vendors for print services continuity
Co‑ordination for cable patching with vendors or enable on demand
Ensure basic network connectivity (LAN), Wi‑Fi access/Video Tandberg/Printer/Voice available at site
Install and configure hardware and software components for end‑user usability
Manage IT asset lifecycle management for the location/region, including asset collection coordination with vendor, secure storage, labelling, imaging, allocation, recovery, hygiene validation, disposal, and system updates
Experience supporting overall manufacturing/lab IT systems and devices
Familiarity with manufacturing, lab or distribution center IT equipment (scanners, printers, tablets, PCs attached to specialized test equipment, PCs used on the manufacturing line, etc.)
Advanced communication skills to work with multiple teams and/or OEMs on high priority issues
Advanced Microsoft skills (server support, etc.)
Knowledge/experience working in a clean room environment and/or manufacturing environment
Strong focus on quality and attention to detail
