Job Overview As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase organization, time‑management, and the ability to build retailer relationships while serving as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed. Occasionally you may work with other companies’ products in the stores you service.

Salary and Schedule Details

Hourly pay: $15.00 to $17.50 depending on skills and experience.

Paid training delivered through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom training.

Voluntary benefits for part‑time employees include medical, dental, vision, etc.

Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.

Part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.

Average weekly hours: 11–15 hours.

Availability the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.

Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Your Role And Responsibilities Will Include You will perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. The role consists of three major components:

Day‑to‑day engagement: Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you will restock, organize, and monitor inventory for Hallmark products inside and outside the Hallmark department. Technology is critical for communication with supervisors, reporting time, providing feedback, and completing required surveys. Professional, courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is essential.

Holiday support: Leading up to and following holidays (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas), you may work additional days and extended hours. On some holidays you may be required to work on the holiday itself, which may include weekends.

Department resets: Occasionally you will be part of a team responsible for installing fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections. Advance notice of roughly two weeks is provided; assignments may require evenings or weekends.

One Team Vision: As part of Hallmark’s field organization, you are a member of a network of merchandisers who support each other as needed.

Physical Requirements This physically demanding job requires high energy and a sense of urgency. You will work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms, consistently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds most days and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will also kneel, squat, walk, stand, climb stairs, and use step ladders throughout the day.

Basic Qualifications

At least 18 years of age.

Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.

Proficiency with a digital handheld device for opening and reading documents and interpreting information.

Access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.

Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
