Job Title: Document Control Specialist (Hybrid) – Substation Engineering
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to support our Substation Engineering team. This hybrid role is responsible for managing engineering documentation, coordinating project releases, and ensuring accurate tracking and organization of critical project records.
Key Responsibilities
Manage document control processes for engineering design projects, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution
Coordinate and process new project releases, including overseeing in-house and external printing
Administer as-built documentation, including scanning, tracking, printing, and final release of completed project records
Maintain and update logs, spreadsheets, and tracking systems; develop new tools to improve workflow efficiency
Upload, organize, and maintain documents within the approved file repository system, ensuring proper version control
Support engineering teams with scanning, tracking, and printing of large-format drawings
Assist with tracking and maintenance of field equipment, including managing sign-out logs and usage records
Qualifications
Strong organizational and document management skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and document tracking systems
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Collaborative engineering-focused team environment
