Position Summary As a Concierge with WDC Kitchen & Bath Center, you would be responsible for hosting the customer experience by ensuring a welcoming environment and assisting with solutions on current orders. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who is looking to move into sales and enjoys connecting with people in person.
Key Responsibilities
Track and manage the flow of new customers entering the Showroom. Match new customer opportunities to sales staff based on store policy and answer for any new customer assignment disputes.
Use various software to review open orders for accuracy, updating orders or customer information if changes occur.
Direct job applicants to fill out applications for current job openings online and, if needed, request job verifications or records from Human Resources.
Perform routine office tasks necessary for the operation and presentation of a professional workplace as observed by the Area Manager.
Assist with clerical tasks including typing, filing, proofreading, maintenance of system notes, and data entry.
Receive telephone calls promptly and professionally when Reception is not available; use all telephone system features for forwarding, holding, and checking voicemails.
Relay messages to Showroom team members clearly, professionally, and confidentially.
Engage with customers professionally and courteously, building rapport with guests, vendors, and coworkers.
Manage the refreshment area and maintain adequate stock.
Offer and serve coffee/refreshments to customers and assist with product demonstrations by preparing samples.
Greet every person entering the Showroom promptly, following WDC Customer Experience guidelines.
Monitor showroom display standards and report concerns to the appropriate persons if an area is not aligned with marketing and pricing standards.
Ensure that the Showroom remains tidy and clean, free of dust; report cleaning or hazard concerns promptly.
Lead seasonal store decoration efforts in collaboration with Area Manager.
Qualifications
2‑4 years of experience within luxury retail, customer service, or a similar role.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; good listening ability.
Minimum high‑school diploma or GED required.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
