Job Overview As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed. On occasion you may work with other products from partner companies in the stores you service.

Salary and Schedule Details

Your starting hourly pay rate will be $13.00-$15.00 depending on your skills and experience.

We provide paid training, delivered through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom sessions.

Part‑time employees are offered voluntary benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.

This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.

Average weekly hours are between 8–10 hours.

Availability a week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.

Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Day‑to‑day engagement: Use a mobile device provided by Hallmark to restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required merchandising surveys. Professional, courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is essential.

Holiday support: Assist with seasonal demand around holidays such as Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Additional days and extended hours may be required, including on the holiday itself or weekends.

Department resets: Participate in installations and tasks such as building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections. Advance notification is typically provided two weeks before remodel assignments; assignments may include evenings or weekends.

Team collaboration: Support other merchandisers in the field organization when needed across territories.

Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and urgency. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds consistently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. The job involves kneeling, squatting, walking, standing, climbing stairs, and using step ladders.

Basic Qualifications

At least 18 years of age.

Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Capacity to lift, pull, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.

Proficient with a digital handheld device for reading and interpreting documents.

Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.

Reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores on schedule.
