Job Overview: Customer Service & Project Coordinator – Utility Segment (Hybrid 2 days/week WFH)
What You’ll Do
Serve as the main liaison between Utility Sales/Distributors, Business Development, Hubbell Utility Sales, and cross‑functional Connector/Grounding/Tooling teams to support customer service and project coordination.
Provide utility distributors with pricing and availability updates, order status, and expediting assistance.
Deliver immediate support during STORM season, responding quickly and confidently to urgent customer needs.
Build and maintain strong relationships through proactive daily engagement with customers and internal stakeholders.
Manage assigned customer inquiries from start to finish—troubleshooting issues, coordinating solutions, and streamlining communication.
Collaborate with Operations, Product Management, and Technical Services to resolve challenges and ensure customer requirements are met.
Support Salesforce updates and forecasting activities for major Utility customers and opportunities.
Prepare and distribute documentation, including open order reports, weekly shipment updates, past‑due summaries, and literature updates.
Provide basic technical support with guidance from the Technical Services team.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and customer needs.
What will help you thrive in this role?
AS degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field (bachelor’s preferred), or 2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment using an integrated ERP system (SAP preferred) and Salesforce case management.
Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency (v‑lookups, pivot tables).
Excellent organization and time‑management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively across all functions.
Experience leading or participating in cross‑functional projects is a plus.
