What you will be doing The Hydro Flask Growth Marketing Manager position is a data-driven and results-oriented role, leading our customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty efforts. This role will drive performance across multiple digital marketing channels, including performance-focused paid social, on-site SEO, CRM, email marketing, and loyalty programs. The ideal candidate has a strategic mindset and hands‑on approach to executing campaigns that drive engagement, revenue growth, and customer lifetime value. This role will be crucial in expanding Hydro Flask’s e‑commerce audience, deepening our first‑party data and community engagement, and driving sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
Lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of DTC-focused paid social campaigns across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest to increase brand awareness and sales.
Analyze data to refine targeting, bidding, and creative strategies to maximize ROAS.
Partner with creative teams to develop compelling ad assets and copy that reflect the Hydro Flask brand and key product initiatives.
Manage A/B testing strategies across top-performing creative and audience targeting.
Partner with the Marketing Center of Excellence (COE) to stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates, and performance optimizations to inform strategy.
Partner with Sr Manager, Media & Social Strategy to brief, execute, and optimize full-funnel media campaigns throughout the year, maximizing total dollars spent and ad-driven revenue.
Own CRM strategy to enhance customer segmentation, targeting, and engagement for Hydro Flask fans and customers.
Develop and execute automated email marketing and SMS campaigns to nurture leads, drive conversions, and build brand loyalty.
Partner with support agency to A/B test subject lines, content, and send times to improve email performance.
Budget and agency manage SMS agency scope and spend.
Monitor deliverability, open rates, and overall campaign effectiveness, ensuring brand consistency and customer-first messaging.
Collaborate with internal IT Development Team on ticket requests in support of new features, bugs, personalization, etc.
Own and manage automatic email communications (e.g., order confirmation, shipping, transaction emails, customer service) and affiliated agency/platforms.
Partner with COE Analytics Team on CDP data and actionable insights. Also collaborate with customer service, product, and marketing teams to enhance program value and customer experience.
Lead the strategy and management of a customer loyalty program to increase retention, repeat purchases, and brand advocacy.
Develop program mechanics, rewards structure, and promotional campaigns to drive enrollment and engagement with Hydro Flask’s most passionate customers.
Integrate the Hydro Flask Trade-In Program into the brand’s Loyalty Program. Manage and maintain the Loyalty Referral Program and associated platform.
Analyze program data to optimize rewards, incentives, and overall effectiveness.
Skills needed to be successful in this role
Experience with CRM and email marketing platforms.
Strong analytical, data‑driven mindset with experience in A/B testing and performance optimization.
Demonstrated ability to drive eCommerce growth, revenue, and customer engagement.
Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills; comfortable managing multiple initiatives.
Proven ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
Self‑motivated, adaptable, and proactive with a strong sense of ownership.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree.
5+ years of experience with progressive responsibilities for DTC eCommerce.
5+ years of experience in growth marketing, digital marketing, or performance marketing roles.
Experience indirectly managing, mentoring, and influencing team members with a track record of building and maintaining effective working relationships across functional divisions within an organization to enable success.
Strong experience managing paid social campaigns, and SEO initiatives.
Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing loyalty programs or retention marketing strategies.
Klaviyo experience.
Knowledge of digital marketing and the current marketing technology landscape.
