The Timepiece Merchandiser supports Bailey’s Timepiece department companywide by managing inventory operations, maintaining accurate stock levels, and ensuring seamless product flow across all Bailey’s locations and the Fox & Bailey shop. Primary Objectives

Maintain accurate watch inventory across all Bailey’s locations Support OpentoBuy discipline through clear reporting and reorder preparation Improve vendor and preowned inventory tracking Ensure consistent documentation and inventory processes Support smooth execution of new watch launches across stores and online Key Responsibilities

Inventory Processing & Accuracy Receive, inspect, and process incoming watch inventory in Adaptive Verify model numbers, serial numbers, memo status, pricing, and locations Maintain accurate vendor style numbers and reference data Execute price updates and product data corrections Coordinate watch box labeling and transfer paperwork per Bailey’s SOP Support Adaptive product data alignment Replenishment & OTB Support Run weekly automatic replenishment reports Prepare suggested reorder summaries within vendor OTB limits Flag stock imbalances, aged inventory, and transfer opportunities Support reorderpoint maintenance and reset meetings Monitor core “neverout” models across all doors Prepare purchase orders for buyer review prior to submission Pre-Owned Watch Intake & Street-Buy Trade-In Process Create SKUs for each preowned watch and enter all key information and attributes into the inventory system, including model, reference number, serial number, condition notes, and any included accessories or documentation Create and manage WorkinProgress (WIP) records to track each watch through the service workflow Coordinate with the watch shop to route pieces for service, cleaning, or repair as appropriate Monitor WIP status and maintain communication with the watch shop on service timelines and completion Upon return from service, revalue each watch to incorporate actual service costs into the landed cost Perform pricing adjustments post-service to ensure retail pricing reflects updated cost basis and market positioning Update inventory records to reflect final condition, service history, and adjusted pricing before items are released for sale Pre-Owned Vendor Support Track preowned timepiece inventory Monitor memo status, returns, and RA tracking Maintain accurate status tracking for consignment and vendor-owned inventory Support pricing updates and inventory movement coordination Provide reporting on preowned vendor performance and aging New Product Planning & Purchase Order Support Attend planning meetings with Timepiece Buyers to provide inventory insights Support vendor meeting preparation with inventory summaries and aged inventory insights Following vendor meetings and internal newness order meetings, enter approved newness selections onto purchase orders for buyer review and submission Ensure purchase orders reflect agreed quantities, pricing, and vendor terms with no unauthorized addons or substitutions Assist with brand portfolio reviews and stock balancing across all Bailey’s locations and Fox & Bailey Cross-Functional Coordination Partner with sales teams and vendors to ensure process flow for watch warranty activations Work with store teams to resolve inventory discrepancies Communicate and follow up with Vendors and Marketing to confirm dates and inventory planning for all timepiece events and trainings Attend and support all timepiece events and trainings where vendors are present Collaborate with Ecommerce and Marketing teams on new product launches, ensuring accurate product data, inventory availability, and alignment with Product Launch Guides Provide additional overflow support to other departments within Merchandising Inventory Governance Support Support preparation and reconciliation for Bailey’s biannual companywide physical inventory Assist with Adaptive data cleanup before and after inventory Help maintain SOP templates and reporting dashboards Assist with watch strategy initiatives as assigned Qualifications

1 to 3 years of experience in inventory management, merchandising, or retail operations Experience in luxury watches or jewelry preferred Strong Excel and reporting skills Excellent attention to detail and organization Strong communication and collaboration skill
