Position Summary
This position is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, cleanliness, and curb appeal of the apartment community. This role ensures that all outdoor areas, common spaces, and amenities are well‑kept, safe, and welcoming for residents, guests, and prospective residents.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain the cleanliness of all common areas, including sidewalks, parking lots, breezeways, stairwells, and amenity spaces
Perform daily property walks to remove trash, debris, and litter from grounds and landscaped areas
Oversee landscaping vendors and provide assistance, as needed
Assist with seasonal landscaping tasks such as leaf removal, mulching, and snow/ice removal, if requested
Empty trash receptacles and ensure dumpster areas are clean and orderly
Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or property damage to the maintenance team and Community Manager
Assist the maintenance team with minor tasks and unit turns as needed
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies at all times
All other tasks, as assigned
Requirements
Basic knowledge and ability to operate landscaping equipment and maintenance tools
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Ability to frequently walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and time management skills
Must be able to provide proof of valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
