Job Summary This role offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced Team Leader within the Sports and Entertainment segment. You will be responsible for working with Advisors/Client Executives and Account Executives to service client accounts. You will be responsible for managing your book of business; this includes administrative and operational aspects to do so. Your book of business can include large lines and layered accounts. You will partner with the Team Leader to deliver high‑quality service and strategic support for a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
This is a full‑time position with a hybrid schedule from our Plainview, Long Island office. We may consider a remote or hybrid schedule in one of our other East‑coast offices/cities, at our discretion, and for well‑qualified candidates demonstrating a high level of product fluency. Title and salary will be commensurate with knowledge and experience.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Manage day‑to‑day servicing for an assigned set of client accounts, including extensive verbal, electronic, and written communication
Manage an assigned book of business, as applicable
Maintain proactive, professional relationships with carrier and client contacts
You may be responsible for leading client meetings for assigned accounts, as needed
Manage the renewal and marketing process from start to finish in partnership with the Team Leader
Communicate directly with clients and carriers in collaboration with the Team Leader
Create and maintain client files in accordance with established office procedures
Maintain accurate client policy records in the agency management system
Negotiate submissions directly with carriers, as appropriate
Lead reviews of proposals and carrier source documents to confirm accuracy and completeness
Maintain accurate documentation and follow‑up processes to ensure policies, endorsements, and other deliverables are received and processed as requested
Serve as the first point of contact for billing questions from clients and carrier personnel; coordinate with Accounting Department as needed
Knowledge, Skills, And/or Abilities
Demonstrated client service to establish and maintain effective relationships; strong business writing skills through relevant work and knowledge assessments
Experience with EPIC (agency management system) preferred
Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Excellent written communication skills – writes clearly; edits work for spelling and grammar; varies writing style to meet needs; presents numeric data effectively
Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to handle situations in a calm, courteous and professional manner
Sharp attention to detail, decision‑making skills, problem resolution and strong negotiation skills
Sound judgment with the ability to make independent decisions within established guidelines
Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities, deadlines, and technology
Ability to successfully interact with a variety of people and function well both in a team environment and autonomously
Ability to work additional hours as needed to meet client and business deadlines. Must be able to accommodate minimal travel if required
When working from home, you must maintain a confidential workspace and high‑speed internet
Education And/or Experience
5+ years of commercial lines insurance servicing experience preferred
Recent experience in a retail insurance brokerage environment required
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required
Keen ability to understand and assess policy forms and endorsements
Certificates, Licenses, Registration
Property & Casualty broker’s license required upon hire

Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance‑based incentives.
