Job description:
Growing Property Management firm seeks an experienced Marketing Director to support marketing and retention efforts for a portfolio of properties. Must be a self‑starter, an upbeat team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Marketing Director duties:
Identifying the unique qualities that make the apartment community valuable and attractive to current and prospective residents
Understanding the history, trends, and productivity of guest traffic
Effectively marketing the apt community & turning leads into move‑ins to maximize occupancy
Being familiar with the inventory of apartments that are available for rent at the community
Performing marketing visits to local businesses and other potential sources of new residents
Understanding the competitive apartment market by gathering information about competing communities in the market area
Visiting competing communities in the area and advising regarding quality, rents, and special incentives
Determining the features and amenities of competing apartment communities
Position Requirements:
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
Track record of organizing and completing projects
Positive attitude, independent thinker, and proactive personality
Ability to make appropriate decisions while keeping supervisor informed
Ability to express ideas and interact effectively with management team members and leaders
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Knowledge of email distribution systems, website content management programs, and HTML and Adobe Creative Suite applications including Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, and InDesign is a plus!
Must have a valid driver's license and proof of automobile liability insurance coverage
