A Day in the Life

We are looking for a committed professional to join our team as a remote Specialty Territory Manager. The candidate will reside within the territory, hold a valid driver’s license, and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. Position Responsibilities

Sales execution and market development: plan, execute, collaborate with sales leaders and field reps to achieve sales targets, implement business plans, manage sales opportunities using MPower (Salesforce), and maintain high standards of customer service. Provide technical and clinical expertise to implanting teams, ensuring site activation, appropriate patient selection, and procedural consistency; support handover to quality, R&D and other Medtronic departments. Deliver educational support: train physicians, hospital staff and Medtronic personnel on product use, stay current with clinical data, and coordinate simulation and in‑service training. Manage sales reporting, inventory ordering, shelf stock, and returns; develop relationships with key decision makers and resolve customer complaints. Represent Medtronic at industry events, develop strategies to counter competitor messaging, and keep abreast of market trends. Assist in training new hires, sign off on MTEs, and maintain Salesforce documentation. Submit expense reports and schedule travel arrangements as required by the role. Communicate market intelligence and updates to leadership and district managers. Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree. 5+ years of sales experience in a hospital environment selling cardiac electrophysiology or cardiovascular implantable products; OR 2 years of Micra sales experience in a Specialty Therapy Manager role plus 3 years of related experience. Desired / Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cardiac pacemakers, transcatheter/leadless technology, electrophysiology wires, catheters, delivery systems. Deep understanding of cardiac and vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology. Strong ability to communicate product advantages to physicians and hospital administration. Experience managing multiple accounts, teaching medical personnel, and coordinating programs. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Excellent influencing, consulting, interpersonal and written communication skills. Strong project‑management skills, able to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Good customer‑service orientation, ability to make timely decisions, and a strong work ethic. Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures and the medical‑device industry. Physical Job Requirements

Frequent travel to customer sites and meetings; independent mobility required. Regular walking, standing, and sitting for more than eight hours per day. Frequent lifting of up to 40 lbs from floor to chair/table; bending, stooping, squatting, and balance required. Use of hands to handle tools or controls, operating a mobile phone, PC, keyboard and mouse. Ability to wear lead (7‑9 lbs) for extended periods in an operating room. Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance; driving approx. 80% of time within assigned territory. Travel Requirements
