Account Executive of Investor Sales

FlipOps, San Francisco, CA, United States

FlipOps is an automated, all-in-one platform designed for real estate investors to streamline their workflows and maximize efficiency. By consolidating 4–6 tools into one system, it helps discover distressed properties, prioritize leads using a proprietary distress scoring algorithm, and manage deals through closing. FlipOps also uses machine learning models to predict deal outcomes before contact is initiated. It is tailored for wholesalers, flippers, and buy-and-hold investors aiming to spend less time analyzing and more time closing deals.

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Account Executive specializing in Investor Sales. The Account Executive will be responsible for selling FlipOps to independent real estate investors, small teams, and growing wholesaling operations. This role requires an understanding of the investor tech stack — what tools they currently use, where those tools fall short, and how FlipOps consolidates those workflows into one platform. Familiarity with the day-to-day of running an acquisitions or dispositions operation is critical for having credible sales conversations with this audience.

Qualifications

Strong skills in Lead Generation and identifying potential sales opportunities

Proficiency in Account Management and effectively managing the sales pipeline

Excellent Communication and Relationship Building skills to engage and maintain client trust

Experience in providing exceptional Customer Service, with a client-first mindset

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, dynamic environment

Prior experience in the real estate or investment industry is a plus

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred

What You’ll Do

Run full-cycle sales from prospecting through close, targeting wholesalers, flippers, and BRRRR investors who are actively managing deal flow

Conduct product demos tailored to specific investor workflows — showing how FlipOps handles list pulling, skip tracing, lead scoring, pipeline management, and disposition within a single platform

Identify and articulate the cost savings of consolidating tools like PropStream, BatchLeads, REsimpli, and a separate dialer into one subscription

Build pipeline through outbound prospecting into REI communities, Facebook groups, local meetups, masterminds, and investor networking events

Manage inbound leads from Easy Apply, website traffic, and referral channels, qualifying based on deal volume, current tool stack, and team size

Track and report on sales metrics including demo-to-close rate, average deal cycle, revenue per account, and churn indicators

Gather competitive intelligence from prospect conversations — what tools they’re using, what’s working, what’s not, and what features would make them switch

Collaborate with the marketing team on messaging, case studies, and sales collateral that speaks directly to investor pain points around fragmented workflows and manual processes

You Might Be a Fit If

You've sold SaaS or software to real estate investors, agents, or adjacent audiences and understand the buying behavior of someone who runs their business from a phone and a laptop

You can walk an investor through a demo and speak fluently about ARV, MAO, comps, skip tracing hit rates, and pipeline stages without needing a script

You've sold against or alongside tools like PropStream, BatchLeads, DealMachine, REsimpli, InvestorFuse, or Podio and know how investors evaluate new software

You've hit quota in a role where the average deal size was under $500/month and volume was the path to target — you know how to move fast without cutting corners

You've prospected into niche communities, whether it's REI Facebook groups, BiggerPockets forums, or local REIA chapters, and converted those relationships into pipeline

You understand the difference between selling to a solo wholesaler doing 3 deals a month and a team running 50+ acquisitions with VAs, and you can adjust your pitch accordingly

You've handled objections around switching costs, data migration, and "I already have a system that works" — and you've closed deals anyway

You've used a CRM like HubSpot, Close, or Salesforce to manage your own sales pipeline and can speak to CRM functionality from a user's perspective

Bonus Points

Personal experience as a real estate investor — wholesaling, flipping, or buy-and-hold — gives you built-in credibility in every sales conversation

You've attended or spoken at REI meetups, conferences, or masterminds and have an existing network in the investor community

Experience selling into teams that use VAs for cold calling, texting, or data entry, and understanding how platform adoption works when part of the team is remote or offshore

Familiarity with creative finance deal structures (sub-to, seller financing, wraps) and how those investors have different software needs than traditional cash offer wholesalers

Background in selling compliance-adjacent features — DNC/TCPA tools, opt-out management, or consent tracking — as part of a broader platform pitch

Compensation

$48,000 + uncapped commission structure. Remote-friendly.
