Role Overview An opportunity is available for an experienced Workday ERP Solutions Consultant to support the implementation and adoption of an integrated payments and treasury automation product for clients using Workday Financials. This role focuses on optimizing clients’ payment acceptance, banking connectivity, settlement, and reconciliation workflows inside Workday. The consultant will act as a Workday specialist, guiding clients through solution design, implementation, and best‑practice optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead clients through end‑to‑end implementation of a Connected Payments solution within Workday Financials.
Conduct discovery sessions to assess clients’ financial operations, including Banking & Settlement, Accounts Receivable, Customer Payments, Business Assets, and Core Financials.
Configure Workday business processes, security, integrations, and financial frameworks to support payment and cash‑management workflows.
Collaborate with enterprise payments onboarding, engineering, and product teams to deliver a frictionless client experience.
Translate business requirements into functional Workday configuration designs.
Serve as a Workday subject‑matter expert on payments, bank integrations, settlement automation, and reconciliation processes.
Troubleshoot configuration issues, recommend enhancements, and help clients adopt best practices for automated cash flow management.
Provide training, reference materials, and solution documentation to client end users and administrators.
Partner with product managers to provide field insights that shape the product roadmap and Workday‑specific enhancements.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of Workday Financials consulting or administration experience.
Functional knowledge of Workday modules such as Financial Accounting, Customer Accounts, Banking & Settlement, and Business Process Framework.
Experience integrating financial institutions, payment gateways, or treasury solutions with Workday.
Understanding of Workday security, reporting, EIB/Studio integrations, and configuration tools.
Communication skills with the ability to translate financial and technical concepts for business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Workday certifications (Pro/Partner credentials, Financials, Integrations).
Experience with payments (ACH, card processing, RTP, wires) or financial services integrations.
Background in ERP consulting, fintech, or banking technology.
Familiarity with Workday Extend or advanced reporting tools.
