Business Sales Account Manager

Responsibilities

Identifying, developing and qualifying leads within the territory through cold‑calling, partner selling, lead‑generation campaigns and modern social selling techniques.

Gaining new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets.

Retaining, managing and growing the existing customer base.

Coordinating with support partners to educate and excite customers about innovative business solutions.

Proactively establishing, building and maintaining relationships with key decision makers.

Effectively presenting and creating multi‑product solution opportunities.

Demonstrating a knowledgeable understanding of wireless and mobility products and integrated software solutions, including Cloud, Security, ISP, VoIP and Google platforms.

Tracking and reporting progress through consistent use of sales force automation tools.

Qualifications You’ll need to have:

Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

Four or more years of relevant experience (outside sales, prospecting, negotiation).

Experience in outside sales, prospecting and negotiation.

Willingness to work in a mobile model with up to approximately 50% travel.

Valid driver’s license.

Even better if you have:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree or relevant certifications/college courses.

Two or more years of business‑to‑business or outside sales experience, including business acquisition and prospecting/cold calling.

Technology sales and educational experience (SaaS, CRM, Salesforce, social media).

Strong presentation skills in face‑to‑face and virtual environments.

Experience building and maintaining business relationships with all levels of client organizations.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced, self‑directed, entrepreneurial environment.

Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks to accomplish goals.

Ability to implement feedback and tailor your approach for success.

Compensation Base pay plus commission-based structure with unlimited opportunity. Salary range for Illinois: $53,000.00 – $92,000.00 (commission potential depends on performance and location).

Where you’ll be working Mobile role, primarily at customer or field locations, with occasional visits to Verizon locations for training and meetings.
