What you'll be doing
The Senior Product Manager follows a full product lifecycle for Verizon’s AI Connect and Network Programmability service, from ideation through launch and post‑launch management, driving commercial success and innovation. Key Responsibilities
Define product strategy and developing a roadmap for the AI Connect portfolio aligned with company goals and market demands. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning for Strategic Connectivity products (IDS, L3VPN, Ethernet, Cloud Fabric). Collaborate with marketing, sales, pricing, and operations teams to develop and execute comprehensive go‑to‑market plans and product positioning strategies, ensuring successful launches and strong market adoption. Define, articulate, track, and report product metrics to Product, Marketing, Finance, and Sales teams on a regular basis. Understand next‑generation network and security needs and work closely with engineering and network teams to translate customer requirements into technical specifications. Oversee end‑to‑end product lifecycle from ideation and concept development through design, feature prioritization, development, testing, launch, and post‑launch management. Utilize Agile or similar frameworks to ensure iterative progress on product features and functionality. Increase customer acquisition and retention rates through strong product adoption of AI Connect and Programmability offerings. Define performance service‑level agreements (SLAs) and ensure product performance and availability meet required standards. Develop partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and lead cross‑functional teams—engineering, operations, marketing, and sales—to ensure alignment and successful execution of the product strategy. Ensure communication with leadership and provide regular updates to executives on product performance and strategic direction. What we’re looking for
Strong strategic skills with the ability to identify and assess key points, implications, and recommendations; proven ability to structure business cases around a high‑level strategic vision. Excellent communication skills—verbal and written—with advanced presentation experience, including executive‑level customer presentations. Ability to work independently and collaboratively on multiple high‑priority projects, with proven interpersonal and relational skills. You’ll need to have
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience. Six or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work, military, or specialized training. Experience in understanding product development and management life cycles. Both a technical and commercial understanding of the network business. Even better if you have one or more
Proven product management experience demonstrating execution of a product roadmap from inception to completion. Deep data and analytic orientation for evidence‑based decision making. Experience leading cross‑functional teams and motivating/inspiring them under uncertainty. MBA or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent. Understanding of Verizon’s domestic and global product offerings across Connectivity and MNS portfolio. Experience prioritizing and executing multiple projects concurrently. This hybrid role requires working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, as directed by your manager. Employees must maintain compliance with hybrid work policies. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Benefits and Compensation
