
Director Strategic Sourcing (Focused Supplier Development)

As a Director, Strategic Sourcing at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving the procurement of materials and services in alignment with business leadership. You will be responsible for establishing and executing procurement strategies with key suppliers to improve delivery, quality, and cost performance. This role requires a broad understanding of the supply chain, operations, and procurement/sourcing to enhance the performance of distressed suppliers.
You will report directly to the Senior Director of Focused Supplier Development Mechanical and work out of the South Bend, IN or Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
Drive and execute Annual and Strategic Plans with supporting strategies. Ensure rapid and effective execution of strategies aligned with business growth. Manage critical suppliers to significantly improve delivery, quality, and cost. Build strong relationships with key supplier executive leadership. Collaborate with ISC functions and other Honeywell Aerospace functions. Lead supplier output increases to support business and deliver performance improvements. Deliver improvements in OTTR, past dues, PO acknowledgements, and supplier output aligned to business needs and growth. Qualifications
Extensive experience in project management and/or integrated supply chain. Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Excel and the Microsoft suite of products. Knowledge of SAP is desired. We Value
Extensive experience in sourcing and procurement. Experience leading in matrix and complex team environments. Project management and/or contract management experience. Professional certifications in project, supply chain, procurement, or contract management. Team leadership experience in supply management, sourcing, procurement, or business. Demonstrated business and financial acumen. Experience with SAP, e‑sourcing platforms, request‑for‑quotation tools, and project management systems.
