Logistics And Supply Chain Specialist

In this role, the candidate will work directly with shippers to create solutions, and take action to improve shipper performance metrics. Responsibilities include: monitor, verify, and present data daily - Overcome transportation disruptions and other barriers in real time - Identify transportation defect root causes - Maintain daily logs on assigned shippers - Lead weekly calls with assigned shippers - Lead daily business review stand up calls spacer Skills: logistics, supply chain, Excel, freight, vendor management, account management, fleet, transportation Top skills details: logistics, supply chain, Excel Additional skills & qualifications: Experience: - Good relationship building skills, good at organization, communicate effectively on top of technical skills, going through lowest cost provide, managing disruptions as they occur, supply chain technical skills. - Can be from supply chain or logistics, but they are open, a lot of support and training for hard skills, what is more difficult is the interpersonal and organizational skills, need to hit the ground running. Industries from top performers: party planners, event coordinators, real estate, sales, restaurants Basic qualifications: 2 years of logistics, supply chain or Amazon experience preferred Understanding of basic data analytical skills Experience writing documents on topics such as process improvement proposals. Entry level knowledge of MS Excel; familiarity with Excel spreadsheets and ability to navigate and interpret data Interpersonal and customer service skills What programs does your team use? -- Microsoft Excel knowledge required (pivot tables) -- Outlook -- Will be trained on internal transportation management and ground control systems Experience level: Entry level This position is 100% on-site. Job type & location: This is a contract to hire position based out of Nashville, TN. Pay and benefits: The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
