Role Summary We are looking for a strategic account manager to drive growth by addressing customer needs with exceptional products and solutions. In this role you will focus on developing new revenue in North America through expansion of existing customers and contribute to elevating Equiem’s brand in the region. Remote work is possible, supplemented with occasional face‑to‑face meetings and travel as required.
Responsibilities
Orchestrate strategic stakeholder engagement, deciphering decision‑makers and guiding the purchasing process for renewals and expansions.
Dive deep into each customer’s business model, uncovering revenue sources and understanding portfolio‑specific objectives, partnerships, and managed properties.
Expand Equiem’s database and network by leveraging existing connections, securing meetings with key stakeholders, and actively pursuing new opportunities.
Conduct face‑to‑face or video meetings and presentations, covering kick‑off meetings, quarterly reviews, annual workshops, and contract renewal negotiations.
Collaborate with customers to execute client‑specific goals and strategies related to Equiem products and services.
Regularly interact with key stakeholders, benchmarking customer satisfaction and product value and promptly addressing potential issues.
Align with internal Equiem teams to influence product and engagement offerings, ensuring a win‑win scenario for enhanced service delivery.
Qualifications
Passion for sales and a proven track record of goal achievement.
2+ years of account management experience in a similar role, with a record of delivering revenue growth.
Strong business acumen and understanding of SaaS business drivers and analytics.
Experience in commercial property, asset management, or leasing is a plus.
Business and financial management acumen.
Strong sales methodology, including negotiation, deal‑making, and contracting skills – MEDDPICC trained preferred.
Curiosity, gravitas, and adaptability to deliver outcomes and gather adequate information.
Effective communication and presentation skills tailored to a wide audience.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize time effectively.
Strong collaborative and influence skills, building respectful internal and external relationships.
