About the Role Account Supervisor at VML, part of WPP. You will interact with clients and internal partners as a project steward, clarify objectives, guide strategy, and drive growth opportunities. You will lead projects and provide day‑to‑day support.

Key Responsibilities

Work effectively with a variety of internal disciplines and teams.

Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.

Think and operate with strategic orientation and task/project management.

Lead cross‑functional teams and navigate cross‑agency collaboration.

Mentor and support career development of junior team members.

Ensure operational excellence on the accounts and projects managed.

Lead execution of projects and inform supervisor/director on status.

Act as day‑to‑day client contact, with supervision from manager, as needed.

Lead team in execution of project deliverables.

Maintain and grow knowledge of client’s business, competition, and industry.

Lead team understanding of client’s business goals/objectives relative to projects.

Identify new and inventive ways to contribute to and grow client business including thought leadership.

Participate in key client meetings including status meetings, briefings, legal reviews, cross‑agency partner meetings, creative and strategy presentations.

Financial management responsibilities include reviewing project estimates, SOWs, projections, and billing for brands managed; review monthly billing spreadsheets with clients.

Required Qualifications

5+ years account management experience in advertising or marketing communications, ideally at a creative/digital agency with a focus on digital, social, content and video.

Knowledge of digital and social content creation and requirements for different channels.

Exposure to large‑scale projects with multiple workstreams and diverse teams.

Comfortable leading team or cross‑functional and client meetings; ability to tailor communications based on audience and level.

Self‑confident, flexible and able to defend positions.

Ability to present ideas and strategies to senior‑level clients.

Base Salary $70,000—$105,000 USD.
