A day in the life. A typical day for the Product Director for MMA Network Navigator is centered around providing strategic leadership and ensuring the successful delivery and continuous enhancement of Marsh McLennan Agency’s proprietary Transparency in Coverage product. This role involves close collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders, including executive leadership, internal teams, IT and vendor partners, and clients. The Product Director guides the development of strategic approaches based on detailed analysis of medical network data, working alongside analysts and other strategic resources to model and interpret clients’ and prospects’ medical costs. They oversee project plans, timelines, and deployment schedules to ensure that product enhancements align with emerging client needs and regulatory requirements. Throughout the day, they monitor product performance, gather and analyze user feedback, and develop detailed requirements for future improvements, all while maintaining a strong focus on compliance and data privacy. In addition, the Product Director plays a critical role in client engagement and internal training. They prepare and present complex, high-level analyses that drill down into utilization and cost drivers, helping clients understand the financial impact of optimizing their medical networks using MMA Network Navigator. This requires excellent communication skills to clearly articulate the product’s value proposition and to support the sales and service teams in the field with training and responsive guidance. Managing multiple workstreams and priorities, the Product Director ensures that all activities—from client presentations to product marketing collaborations—are executed effectively and on schedule. Their ability to build productive relationships across diverse groups and to make informed decisions independently is essential to driving the product’s success and supporting Marsh McLennan Agency’s commitment to transparency and cost management in healthcare.

Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics or a similar field
5‑7 years of work experience in the healthcare/insurance industry
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint as well as data management and database applications.
Energetic and self‑directed with a high degree of commitment; highly motivated and strong work ethic with consistent initiative and follow‑through on projects and tasks to completion while meeting deadlines; ability to work independently toward objectives with a sense of urgency.
Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
Current Life & Health License preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
Strong understanding of medical economics and examining such as the cost‑effectiveness of treatments, healthcare pricing, insurance contracting/reimbursement, provider payment models, and the overall economic impact of healthcare policies and market dynamics.
